While wilderness lovers are happy to be in the midst of nature, others staying at Svanir for other reasons often ask, “What are the activities available”? What they actually mean are the indoor activities.
A family from Germany, while having breakfast became curious about an item leaning against one wall of the room. We thought that they were pointing out two vintage cameras. So Soumya began to talk about cameras and photography but….
For the next two days and two nights, the two teenage girls and their brother in law became glued to a game which they had obviously never seen, let alone played. Sitting, or dancing to songs from a mobile phone and indoor bluetooth speaker, they played and played till early hours of the morning.
We had never thought that a simple carrom board could bring so much fun, laughter and thrill.
